Stan Mielec emigrated to Canada over 30 years ago. Before relocating, he completed his studies at a music school in Poland and performed with the ensemble Estrada Krakowska. Upon arriving in Canada, he continued to pursue his passion for music, which remains an important part of his life to this day. His involvement with the White Eagle folk and dance group opened new opportunities to share and express his musical talents. Throughout his time in Canada, Stan has actively participated in numerous musical events, collaborating with various bands and fellow musicians.
