Carol Markovsky is a professional live band founded in 2014. In 2020, Andrzej Ludew (the former manager of the 1980s Polish band Republika) showed interest in the group. The band prepared some new material which was recorded at Izabelin Studio with one of the top Polish producers, Andrzej Puczyński. The single “Więcej Ciebie” (More of You) remained on Antyradio’s Turbo Top charts for several months and was a #1 on Radio Dla Ciebie for some time. Next songs such as “Miło Było” (Was It Nice), “Wszystko Mi Jedno” (It Don’t Matter) and “Dobrze Mi Z Tym” (It Feels So Good) shared a similar fate. Songs also were featured on Polish Radio Trójka, Radio 357 and Radio Nowy Świat. The musicians gave interviews on the aforementioned radio stations as well.
Since September 2022, the band has been regularly performing at Warsaw’s finest entertainment complex, Fabryka Norblina ‑ in clubs such as Gimlet Live, Piano Bar Warsaw and MOXO. In June 2023, Carol Markovsky was invited to perform in Canada at Polish Day in Mississauga (Toronto, Canada). In early 2024, the band presented the song “Więcej Ciebie” (More Of You) during the breakfast show Dzień Dobry TVN and performed live on Antyradio in Piotr “Makak” Szarłacki’s program ‑ Makakofonia.
The musicians are currently working on new music to debut with their first official full-length album.
