Polanie is a non-profit Connecticut based song and dance troupe formed in 2006. The group has four dance groups, a band and a circle of singers, with children as young as 3-years-old performing, consisting of more than 70 individuals. Hanna Deja is the artistic director and choreographer of Polanie. Polanie perform folk and national dances and sing polish folk and patriotic songs from various regions of Poland garbed in handmade costumes crafted in Poland. Polanie are the hosts of multiple International Dance Festivals and Annual Christmas Concert.
